1: Based on your experience, what are my chances of getting an eggsack(since my male is already pretty old)?
With the size of the female, I'd say she is full of eggs. Just get her mating as much as possible.

At 25W over 16 ft it can't get that warm. In comparison I use some heat pads which are 25W per square foot which can heat two aquariums back to back to about 74F and glass temp to 80F. The problem with the tape may be mounting it to the enclosures to get heat transfer. Normally its wrapped tight...
I also use heat pads on the side of my enclosures. You can share one pad between multiple enclosures by sandwiching it in between (vertical sides work best) and stacking the enclosures . I put misc containers and critter keepers on top of 10 gallon aquariums. All you need is a warm spot (~80F)...
I am really thinking about a breeding and eggsac situation where temperature and humidity are critical. My house is generally low humidity with forced air heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer.
Has anyone used an aquarium heater in tarantula enclosures or eggsac incubators?
When I was in grade school, I used an aquarium heater in a jar of water to keep temperature and humidity high in a terrarium. They are inexpensive and have a thermostat built in.
