You could always send a male on a breeding loan, and possibly get 50% of the offspring. It's not good to support pet stores that don't take care of their animals, with all of the breeders here that do it for fun, not just the money.
Nobody has mentioned feeding them to another animal. If you have carnivorous/insectivorous animals, they could eat most species of tarantulas. Monitors, tegus, geckos, dragons, and some kinds of turtles and snakes, would kill any spider within a few seconds.

I recently got 3 Poecilotheria metallica juveniles. They are fast. They are FAST.
Is it safe to use vegetable/canola oil around the edge of the 16 oz. deli cups to prevent them from running out of the containers? I would only be using a very thin layer, around the upper surface of the cups.
