It seems she wasnt digging, just chillin there.
Im going to wait til morning to remove the rock instead of poking her out of the way as i see no immediate danger of her getting squished :)
My T.Stirmi looks like its making a burrow by this big rock, im worried she will dig too far and the rock will fall in on her because its not on the bottom of the tank its just placed on the substrate, ive thought about removing the rock but im worried it might freak her out?
What do you guys...
^Yeah i will keep you informed on how she grows/molts, shes just exploring the tank at the moment.
Fingers crossed she will be ok and live a long and happy life!
+ Thanks for the support
:)
Haha ok thanks i didnt see you were joking and no i didnt pick the Theraphosa as my 1st turantula, i had a Chilean rose but ive passed it on to my brother as he really liked it, so ive got a t.stirmi now she seems to be alright at the moment just settling in to the new tank :)
Is this hide suitable for my T.stirmi? its a medium sized plant pot with a section cut out, the substrate is 6 inches tall to allow room for burying im just wondering if its suitable or should i change for a cork bark tube (when i find one)? any suggestions are welcomed, thanks.
