I'm not a corporation but yes I do own several forums. I've been in the hobby for a bit over 5 years but been working in exotics/pets for decades.
I'm curious as to how that foam will work out for you. I was always under the impression that those foams were toxic and no good for pets. That stuff sure is messy though! I've used it for home repairs before!

I've always wanted a Kenyan Sand Boa but I have never had the means or the space to pick one up. I will probably pine over them at the next reptile show and never end up bringing one home but such is life... *sigh*
I don't think he will injure himself if I'm thinking of the same little enclosure you mentioned. I would keep an eye on him though and make sure he does start to settle in within a day or two. Just make sure he isn't seeming to be running from something that is unsettling about his new home...

I would be troubled by the urticating hairs as well and would try to avoid it if possible. I'm sure its about as often as a snake strike if you're careful but I still would not want to mess with it - just in case...
