Cupiennius Salei mature male. Look at the difference in leg size! He also refuses to give up his molt. Became very defensive and flighty with this last molt. I thought I'd seen a fast spider... this is faster.
Unfortunately the speculation is that he fell from where he was hanging. I found him freshly molted on the ground. Here's a pic for his overall size though
Yes she is, shes actually been mated before from what the previous owner tells me. I've been poking around the forum here for breeding info and there's a small amount. Sounds like cohabitation is a reality with sicarius
Once I've acquired a male I definitely will. One individual would like to wait til its warmer to ship any spiders. And I agree, these are too rare to lose in shipment
I have a female that I will be hanging on to, if any one out there has a male they would like to sell, or do a breeding loan, in Hope's of making sicarius thomisoides available In the US hobby please message me
its been helping a pet store out. they got robbed so a few T's got out and they happened to be mean. maybe they didnt give me much venom but it wasnt THAT bad. sure it hurts but it becomes an ignored pain after an hour or so. the darlingi was mine and just burned for 30 min.
thanks thomas, i just realized my search engine was changed to some crazy off name one. thats why i couldnt find any GOOD and LEGIT info :P now google is where its at, i feel so stupid
lol i have done alot of research and own an irminia! however i just cant figure out many differences in say an ornata and a subfusca excpet for maybe a little bit of color?
most dont bother me too much. got a haplo minax tag and a regalis, and a darlingi but none bothered me a whole ton. and i think i want a regalis, not sure
so narrowed my likings down to pokkies. is there a sheet that tells me ALL the differences on them or not? cause im trying to decide which i want most but i dont know much except for you dont want ornata to bit you :P
i personaly wouldnt use anything but cork in a higher humidity enclosure. only reason being cork is mold resistance where-as other woods/barks are not. i just play it safe:)
do i trust him, no. do i want a sling, *goes into deep research mode*, am i ready for fast and aggressive, ive temporarily adopted a copperhead from a friend and im still alive so i think yes!
well i quarantined him/her and purged the cage with extremely hot steam. so i took care of them! dirty little buggers. still no clue what they were. but all is well!
thanks^^ theres one on CL:
