    Plants safe for P.irminia . G.porteri

Pothos is a good choice for P. irminia or any other non-desert tarantula. If you keep it semi-humid in there, you don't even need to water it.

What is safe to use on a noisy acrylic enclosure door?

Wording doesn't change anything, hearing is vibration sensing. The difference between sensing through skin and your ear is that they can sense a different spectre. But tarantula's vibration sensing is more similar to our ear than to our skin. They probably can't hear high frequencies, but they...

    New P.Irminia(Venezuelan Suntiger)

I'd be a bit careful about this one. There was a report in last BTS journal about P. irminia X P. cambridgei hybrids. It could be lightning, but this one appears very green to me.

Is it okay to keep tarantulas near a microwave?

I don't own one, but most microwaves leak at least a little, so if you have to use it step away from it and don't look into it!

Is it okay to keep tarantulas near a microwave?

Microwave doors often work very bad as mw shields, especially on cheap microwaves. I'd dump microwave and use that space for more T enclosures :D

    New additions for a steal

So I went to local expo today and got M. balfouri 2i for 13€, 0.1 P. subfusca "lowland" (2.5") for 25€ and about 300 or probably more S. lateralis for 10€. I didn't think I'll get so much for little money I had.

    A. versi died

Today I was checking my Ts when I noticed my freshly molted 1 1/2" A. versi was hanging from web, just one leg attached and totally numb. I placed it in ICU, but I'm quite sure it's a goner. I think I'm guilty of her death, because I bothered her a few days after she molted. I think I caused...

This. And don't push your drill too hard, it has to cut away plastic. And turn off vibration on your drill if possible.

How do I make outside Bark safe for my Ts?

I put my outside stuff on my enclosed balcony for about a month. It dries it out very well and anything that might live inside leaves it or dies.

    grass

I don't think there are any diurnal species, but there are diurnal specimens :) I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, I'm just a bit sceptic :) Actually, I think that you should go for it! :) For species, I'd look for non-desert webers or arboreal webers. H. incei or C. fasciatum would make use...

    New DIY hides

Burnoff and fumes from torch are nothing compared to what comes out of car exhaust system. But I agree, wearing a mask would be safer option, especially because of burning PVC.
