I've had mine (emerald skeleton) in a KK with about 5" of coco fiber. He burrowed straight to the bottom then he followed the floor of the KK. I have this old pickle jar it's about a gallon. It's a foot tall (and plastic) I'm assuming that would be more suitable? I'd rather give him more burrow...
When do p. Metallicas start gaining they're color? At about what size? And what is the average growth rate? I.e. Slow, medium or fast? And what is the typical attitude compared to a regalis?
I recieved 4 new slings today. I got a p. Metallica a p. Regalis a. Geniculata and ruthless sp. red. My Metallica starting rearranging her home right away and within 5 minutes the euthlus was already burrowing. Needless to say I love my new babies
Would breeding an a. Seemani with a blue a. Seemani create offspring considered hybrids?
Note: to avoid defensive hybrid responses 1: I'm not planning on breeding these two 2: I don't even have a blue a. Seemani (yet) 3: even if I did I I wouldn't sell them. It was a question my girlfriend...
If you have different sexes o the same t next to eachother it can become interesting. I've hear of males and females tapping to eachother from separate enclosures
Interesting. I want to start breeding soon but that's just a thought I had. I know quite a bit about snake breeding so I was wondering if the genes could be bred out similarly
Are more vibrant colors/markings genetic or environmental? I.e. A "showroom" Metallica that has all vibrant blue, compared to a p. Metallica with just vibrant a legs or a p. Metallica that has a lot of dull coloring. Is the "showroom" Metallica a fluke? A 1/100 chance or has it gained its colors...
