    Im sorry you lost your little buddy! Slings are harder than adults i feel, i had a tiny fireleg sling i lost bc i got sick for too long and he dried out. I was crushed. They are such silly creatures that i definitely consider mine pets.

    I didn't even know they dropped legs until yesterday when i was researching this! This explains so many 6 legged spiders i find in my yard! Lol that's how my friends gbb webbed: thick and to the lid ^_^ Thanks for the input, we've definitely been conparing.

    Which of these species would be the best for a first time tarantula owner?

    My first was a 2" g pulchripes sling :) he was amazing! I interacted with him and he was definitely very handleable (he was a lightbox favorite of mine.) He was gorgeous! If i can find pics that arent locked on either a dead phone or dead laptop lol ill post. They are definitely slow growers...

    Coco fiber for snakes instead of Aspen

    Cocofiber if mixed with moss or something worked well for me but it does dry out FAST and make dusty dusty messes if you're not always constantly on top of it. I used it with frogs to the best success as they stay much more humid than my sand boas.

    Haven't had this girl for long but was taking photos and realized she may have a leg injury! I know she'll molt it out but any thoughts are useful :) i crush the heads of the supers so I'm not sure how she got it. First pic is closeup. Second I'll admit is just because she's so gorgeous ^_^.
