Hi, so i've decided to breed my first Tarantulas which will be Pterinochilus Murinus RCF. So i just wanted to ask a few questions...
1. For a first time breeding, would you recommend pulling the sac or leaving it with the mother?
2. Do i need a bigger tank for breeding as i have a 4.5-5"...
Hi all
So i've my LP for about 2 months now, it arrived with a clear black bald spot and molted that same night. Ever since it molted, it's hardly ever eaten, the last time it ate was about 2-3 weeks ago. I recently thought i hadn't seen it in a while so i decided to gently prod it's abdomen...
Calcium can harm T's and cause them to have molting issues. That's why some people don't recommend feeding T's mice as the have loads of calcium in them. And yes it can make the T's have bad molts mainly with T.blondi's
Yeah i've gone for the cheapest and least calcium cat food possible. The stuff i have looks like biscuits and are very hard, is that the right stuff and would it help if it tried to crush it up?
I've started off a B.dubia colony. I was wondering what type of cat food to use, Biscuits/Meat. I've got some fruit and veg so no need for that.
Thanks, Callum.
The size of the crickets are about half the size of the T, maybe a little bit smaller. I am feeding live crickets, don't really like killing anything that's alive. I'm terrible at taking pictures of my T's seriously.
So i recieved my OBT, P.regalis and freebee Chaco last Thursday. I tried to feed them straight away like i did with my G.rosea and the rosie ate but these haven't eaten apart from the OBT. The P.regalis and the Chaco haven't even tried to eat, the Regalis just runs away and the Chaco does some...
If she's burrowed, she's happy so i wouldn't take that away from her. My LP started to make burrows so i took some substrate out and she got really pissy so i changed it again because it was happy, indivdiuals do vary
