Avics are continually going through reclassification. It is an avic but which one it is is hard to call . It could be avicularia minatrix

I 2nd the Klugi suggestion. Great spiders. Easier to look after that the Blondi and less of a pain in the backside to be around.

Trust me, it'll get slower as it gets older. Brachys are not the sort of spider to rush anything.

Comparing a Brachy to a Psalmopoeus Irminia is the same as comparing a truck to a motorbike. These things are fast. And you won't see much of it.

What do you want? A spider you can see? A terrestrial or arboreal spider? One that's big or one that's colourful? Those two are totally different.

Snap. I've not had my Versi for long but she's a hungry little thing. My Pampho Platty loves food. I used to have a Cobalt Blue that would come hurtling out of her burrow at anything to move in the enclosure. She was a greedy sod.
