In Vail , and frequently Denver. I left my collection in wisconsin sadly.
Anybody in the area breeding or any good general pet shops that you know of?
Thanks guys, it's been a while!
Neither of my psalmopoeus were prone to bolting out of their top door arboreal enclosures. I own both cam and irminia, and as far as overall temperament, the irminia is slightly more Skiddish to work with.
:)

edit: i wait 2 weeks at least. if you can't get a good look at their choppers (to see if fully black), wait 3.
i'm pretty sure i recall my 2'' cam molting 3 times in one month , or maybe a hair over a month. it will molt very soon. after the 3.5'' ish mark, it will slow down from warp speed, to just fast. srs

Don't listen to anybody saying that a heat pad will cause harm. It will not. However, just as well, don't listen to anybody who says keeping your Psalmopoeus at 55-65 degrees f will harm or kill your animal. It WILL, I should add, be slower to grow, eat, appetite, etc.
my cambridgei is DEFINITELY the more defensive of the psalmopoeus I keep (other is irminia). This is the one spider I have that I actively take caution when opening the lid of its enclosure. LOVE THIS SPECIES.
It's a p. striata that I had already been calling female... WOW would this be upsetting if "she" lost all of her color and turned out to be a male. I highly doubt it... ventral sexed female for sure.
