So not sure if this is the right place to ask this. Ive been out of the hobby for a few years and am getting back into it. i cant remember the name of the place i used to get my stuff at. i do know that at one time the individules place burned down and he was working on geting it back up and...
Doesn't look like anyone has answered you. I keep my millipedes in big totes. When the soil needs changing I just move all the ones I see to a new tote already set up. I will gently sift thru the old soil to see if any more are in there. I don't discard the old soil as there may be eggs in there...
Nice find. I look around were I am located at and cant find anything even though I am told we have millipedes. as far as julids I don't consider any millipede a pest.
nice plants. I don't have any luck with these types of plants. I had a sundew that just up and died well at least I thought it did. I see some brand new growth popped up in the last few days. any tips or tricks would be helpful on keep carnivorus planst
Congrats. I didn't find anything when I was in the Tampa area a few weeks ago. I looked but no luck. It seems like everyone but me finds all the good stuff lol.I was hoping to find ivories or bumblebee millipedes but nope luck is never on my side lol.
I started keeping them as clean up crews when I kept dart frogs. due to health reason I pretty much sold off all my critters except some isopods and millipedes I had. Way easier to take care of and interesting to look at. plan on getting a few more typesof isopods and millipedes soon.
that is true but if anything happens to the ones i am keeping they wont be replaced unfortunatly. i hate that i have to do this and hope i find good homes for them.
Well after a lot of soul searching and thought i have come to a few conclusions and made a few choices. i will more then likely be leaving the hobby of keeping T's. i think one part is that i am a bit overwhelmed as i have around 100 and the fact i have to work 2 jobs and dont have much time any...
I was real bad at one time and had over 130 T's but i actualy stopped buying and am now trying to thin out my collection to a more managable size. i think im going to keep around 50 or a bit less.
Pretty sure it's not wild caught at all as its maybe 1 1/2 or 2 inches and I have had it for a while. It's molted a few times since I got it. So I'm pretty sure it's cb. Plus no tarantulas in my state lol
Hello everyone. Just need help id'ing this T. Any help is appreciated. I picked it up at my local pet store. They don't sell T's and someone dropped it off. They know I like T's so they took it in and let me know I could come get it. They aren't sure what kind it is as the person that gave it to...
to be honest im not sure which other ones i might sell at this time. believe it or not i am kind of attached to the ones i still have. i have already sold most of my old worlds except for the few i cant part with. ill let everyone know as soon as i decide
Im just wondering if people ever feel overwhelmed by all the T's they keep. I had back surgery a few months ago and its taking longer for me to heal and feel better then i thought. Before my surgery i was always looking forward to getting a new T or three lol. Now to be honest i have actually...
