I just wanted to share this Kickstarter, because I think it is a really cool idea. A company is trying to get enough money to sell affordable kits to students.
I think it would be a lot of fun to control cockroaches with your cell phone.

I see your last post on the mechanical mom was 2010. I was wondering if you still use this model or have you made any other changes to it?
By the way you are so awesome for sharing so much information on your tarantulas with us. I love watching all your YouTube videos. I have...

Last year's Preliminary Program looked really fun. I was hoping to see type of activities are plan for this years conference.

It is scary that Korea is using the E. coli bacteria to make spider silk. That doesn't seem like a good idea to use something that could make us sick. :puke:
I just came across this video and was amazed that they have goats that produce the spider silk. I wonder if we will eventually be able to buy products with the spidergoat silk. That would be really cool!
The goats in the BBC video are cute!

I was looking at some of the photos from last year's conference and it looks like it was a lot of fun...
I just use dog food and I found out that there is no need to ground it up. They will eat it either way. I buy the natural kind and avoid the kinds with the artificial stuff.
She obviously had a great home to have lived so long! I am glad you G. rosea had owners who took great care of her, but sad that she has passed away. Sorry for your loss!

Thanks for sharing.
