    Is 71/72 too cold for 1/2" M. balfouri slings at night? Temp goes up to about 75-76 during the day.

    I got her for $30 and she just molted and I was able to sex her as female with this but was wondering which species she is?

    Birdeater temperature.

    What temperature should theraphosas be maintained at. I keep it at 80 degrees Fahrenheit but it always seems to be hunkered down in the coolest spot in the enclosure. Should I try room temp for a while? I just heard that they need to be kept warm to do well.

    It's newly molted which is why it's thin if that makes a difference

    OBT or P Ornata?

    My adult female ornata is out all the time on the glass whereas I only see my OBT for a few seconds when I feed it.

    Tarantula Haters

    The only rule my significant other has is that they must be kept in our reptile room and now where else, which is completely fair in my opinion as that is the point of dedicating a single room to house these creatures. And I find that "haters" soon become intrigued by the opportunity to watch...
