    Killing grain mites?

Just curious if you have grain mites in a bin while feeding a dry roach chow and then switch over to a pure veggie fruit diet will this kill off the grain mites being that they don't have any grain to feed/ breed on?

    Dubia colony issues? Help please!

Ok so then we have to figure out what is the issue then? I talked to a big dubia breeder and he doesn't think the acid is the source of the issue. He thinks probably a combination of age of the adults paired with poor shipping is going to be a big factor. I just hope I can get stuff to settle in...

Hmmm alright I am raising them as feeders and I want them to be as healthy as possible... I just wanted to remove as many variables as possible ya know? Dubia colony issues? Help please!

Also why is it affecting mainly the adults? I'm losing hardly any nymphs which you would think would be the first to be affected due to the fact that it would take far less boric acid to dehydrate and kill a nymph vs and adult?

    Dubia colony issues? Help please!

I am using a powder so I figured it would be ok? The boric acid is a crystal that is really sharp and can penetrate their exoskeleton which causes them to dry out and die from my understanding of it? I figured it would be ok and it would keep my roaches from getting any unwanted visitors. Like...

    Dubia colony issues? Help please!

Ok guys so I need some help here. I started with a group of 20 adults and one baby and I was losing about one adult every two days? One or two females had babies and they all did fine. I got a little spoked by the death rate so I killed the entire colony and started over completely new. I...

    Advice please

LQs are not for scorp begginers. You should not start with a LQ. There is no need for it at all. LQs is the most poisonous species of scorps. There is nothing in a LQ that you can't get from another species that wont kill you if you get tagged.

    cross breeding scorpions

No, nobody likes cross breeds, so no body breeds cross breeds cross breeds. Extremely old thread anyway.

    My new emperor

It is not recomended that you hold him due to the high level of stress that can be placed on him, and the possibilities of a fall that can result in injury or death. If you were to hold him, which I do not recomend, give him at least a week to settle down. Then you will place your hand on the...

    Identification North-American scorpion

I would agree that it is not H. Spadix for sure, the body isn't dark enough for that.

    Identification North-American scorpion

I would say Handrurus Arizonensis. The body is way to dark colored to be a Smeringurus Mesaensis.

    Breeders club

Which is not good at all. I will through Hadogenes Troglodytes out there too, because from my understanding these are on the rarer side of things too, but correct me if I am wrong? I know mine are both wild caught, and I only know of one other guy who has a wild caught female. So any info or...
