Thaught i would share a pic of
"one of my fav's" with you all...Usually
i never see her out in the open like
this, but i just transfered her to a new
enclosure and snapped the pic before
she could redig her burrow. She's about 3.5"

I have used a type of decorative sand for my
Scorpio mauris (spelling?) and A. austrailis for
quite some time now with no ill effects.
It's a hoffman brand, they call it western desert
sand. It's a little more corse then the regular washed
sand i was using, so burrowing is a tad...

I mounted one above the area where i keep
my spiders, kill all the other light, and experiment
with the flash settings a bit. Sometimes
i'll have to cover a portion of the flash with my
