I keep my P Trans in a medium-sized deli cup with a number of holes on the lid for ventilation. It's still really small. I used a combination of potting soil/peat moss as substrate. I will post pictures as soon as I have my camera fixed.

Hi, friends. I am the new proud owner of a P. Transvaalicus given by a friend of mine. Got any tips to share other than the usual care and maintenance pointers? Any tip will be very helpful for a newbie like me.
Hi, friends. I just got a silver arowana today and I noticed that it is just drifting listlessly in its tank with its head pointed towards the bottom. Is there something wrong with it? My arowana was swimming just okay a few hours ago.
I used to have a male H. Lividum that jumped out of his enclosure whenever I open it even a bit! One day, it just shot out and fell on the floor. Burst his abdomen. Died within a few minutes.
Friends, I am very sad to inform to you that I just lost my Avicularia laeta due to S.A.D.S. this morning. He was very healthy and perky yesterday and I even saw him make a tube of webbing just before I went to bed. When I saw the death curl, I knew something was very wrong. Rest in peace, Dash...
Friends,
I am having a very tough time right now. I rehoused all of my T's last weekend. Changed their substrates, too so they would be cleaner. Then the most horrible things started to happen. My B. Boehmei died last Monday. Then, today I saw my P. Irminia and P. Cambridgei are not too...
Sadly, friends, my B. Boehmei went to the Big Enclosure in the Sky this morning. He was a really docile creature who never even attempted even once to kick hairs at me. Did anyone else lose a T today?
Hi, friends. This is a very sad day indeed. Just found my 2" C. Fasciatum in a death curl this afternoon. Did not show any signs of sickness or problems though. Just died then and there. I followed everything right in the caresheets, too. Maybe it is just his or her time already...
My biggest mistake as a newbie - or rather as a newbie that's always seeking for new T's - is opening an OBT's enclosure for too long. It jumped out, played hide and seek with me for more than 2 hours and went back to its home like nothing happened. LIKE A BOSS!
