Petco most commonly has avicularia avicularia, but sometimes they get a. metallicas and label them as a. avics. Actually, all their T's are mislabeled sometimes.
The metallicas have little white frosted tips to their "fur".
Thank you for your reply, Advan! =)
A couple of friends and I are thinking it's an avicularia avicularia. It was labeled rosehair
Either way, just happy to have some more avics =)
I guess since Leah beat me to it, I'll post here too, lol.
I don't post much but look around a lot. I did post my first thread today though, for a couple new T's I got.
Got these T's today, not sure what they are but I'm pretty sure the first is a metallica and the second is an avicularia species, maybe diversipes... not sure. Anyway, here are the pics

T #2
Thanks for looking :)
just my two cents ...
wrist tattoos feel like nothing, as you stated, and whoever said they hurt ... they seriously must have been crazy, or they were talking about all the way around on the bones and such.
Your tattoo sounds great... I say go for it. I have a tattoo on my side as well...
Honestly mantids will eat most insects. I will agree with the ID posted above. She will probably die in the near future, which is sad - I wish mantids lived longer lives.
I read earlier today that most people just don't do it that often, and that the nymphs feed off of the frass.
Could be wrong, but it seemed to be the general consensus. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
Nothing but the truth here. My siamese is the EXACT same. He always wants to go into the door that is always closed. Thankfully my T's and snakes are in the living room, where it is apparently uninteresting since he sees it every day.
