Just don’t let the rappers and common folk figure this out if it’s possible scorpions, could possibly quickly go extinct. I find the idea hysterical , who Would be crazy enough to actually do it??🤣🤣
It’s weird I’ve had multiple spiders. They were very healthy. And they molted. And can no longer eat or drink. Or even worse had a stuck molt. https://arachnoboards.com/threads/fresh-molt-deaths.363164/.
Either is possible If the mesh lid didn’t fit well, it should’ve never been used. It should be pretty easy to check if it buried itself away. Because. the containers crystal clear.
humidity is irrelevant you just don’t want the soil, soggy wet.
Wish I could find them cheap local online there $20-55 each it seems for slings . I used to be able to find juvys that price .
I expected more search results, I keep mine the same as Rose hairss, occasionally with some of the substrate wet by overflowing the water dish. Although I don’t know...
My first Brachypelma smithi male lived 12 years female 15-16 , so she should had lived longer . My fireleg the male 11 years female didn’t even make it to 10 , again health issues . So it’s luck 🍀 of the draw . I have to buy more someday , right now I can’t afford it .
I wondered if why i lost a few other ones is because i didn’t keep them wet like t blondi , perhaps it was just bad luck ? I kept this one dry for a few years it was fine . But I went back to wet sub.
I assume they hide underneath wood. they might be too hard to catch on actual Palmetto trees. I caught a similar species in North Carolina. I wish I would’ve kept them. My last trip I never saw any. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florida_woods_cockroach
Wish I could find those style containers I had one but it got tossed. Without me knowing.
Ahh I often use tongs to drop food into the enclosure . I don’t spoon feed them with tongs like lizard keepers . That’s how broken fangs can happen.🤣🤣
Maybe if you could get closer to retail value out of it. But shipping is really expensive for Ts . I couldn’t sell a 10 gallon cage if I had to. I’m terrible selling stuff. I would just keep it if they’re getting another dragon.
It would help if there was a list of water dependent Ts and ones that dry is preferred/ although I’ve kept most properly and still had molt problems . I never had a haplo before wonder if there ever visible ?
