    E. campestratus leg discoloration

Seriously? None of you has any idea? Maybe if I had put "HELP!!!" or "My G.rosea is acting funny" in the title, more than a handful would have bothered to even look at it. Maybe I should have used poor grammar and no punctuation to help "grab" readers, as is the norm these days. What a shame.

    E. campestratus leg discoloration

She's 3.5in DLS and confirmed female. I just got her today from an online dealer. I'm wondering what this orange discoloration is on her leg where it meets the carapace. It appears to have no setae in that area. She moves and acts completely healthy, I'm just wondering what could the...

    Electric Blue Tarantula?

Depending on how good of friends you are, I would tell her she has no idea what she got herself into, and you'll trade her 5 goldfish for it.

    what to feed the food

I used to breed blatta leteralis and fed them dog food that I put in the food processor, and then grapes, raw collards, oranges, squash. It seemed to work well, but then again I was feeding the roaches to a bearded dragon.

Took a chance on CL add

No, unfortunately, the wife is only allowing me to have 4, because age thinks its a phase I'm going through, and that it will pass. Wrong. I'm hooked. Anyway, we'll renegotiate me getting more in a year or so. Of course I'll have quite the wish list by then.

    help please!

As stated before, photos of your setup would help tremendously. If it were me, I would put it in a temporary enclosure, completely scrap everything in the existing enclosure, clean it out really well, and use a good amount of DRY coco fiber as a substrate, enough so your smithi can touch the top...

    A. geniculata

So you may or may not have seen my post in the discussion forum about this sp. growth rate. I went ahead and ordered one, and I'm just way too excited for for person to be about a spider. The wife thinks I'm nuts, and my 9 year old daughter thinks I'm the coolest dad in the world. They're both...

    tarantula growth

+1 to the exoskeleton have some elasticity right after molt. Otherwise, it wouldn't "give" enough to get out of the old one. The TKG briefly mentions it as well. Gray is spot on about filling out. I've noticed my rosea stretching a lot right after a molt.
