Can i house my 1 Inch Smithi in a 11 1/2 inch critter keeper? I have a little hideout for it and a little bowel and 6 inch substrate. Or will i stress it out?

I really dont recommended tarantulas for kids unless adult supervision on handling. Ts should be considered skittish and defensive at times.

agree lol I have 2 baby Ts a brachypelma smithi and a Aphonopelma hentzi. The smithi does not like medium crickets but the small ones and the hentzi likes the medium crickets lol its just what they feel like eating its like eating a full large pizza thats too big for you so your not gonna eat it...

Not against them but i would not keep a Brachypelma albopilosa,Brachypelma vagans,Grammostola rosea they are boring to me.

I see i had a rosehair and it was very defensive lol it bit everything that was near it.

I got a baby Aphonopelma hentzi from an expo i got it for $10. Its pretty skittish not defensive but moves fast you think its ok to handle? Will it be like this as a adult?

My last tarantula i handled was the G.Rosea
