    hey! what kind of mites are these?

    Usually the crickets will have them when you first get them, that's why i don't feed the ts with new crickets for 1-2 weeks so most of the mites are attracted to the cricket food. I clean out the cricket cage very well with some disinfectant and other products and then feed the ts. This helps...

    Tarantulas that fast?

    My Aphonopelma went on a 9 month fast, and actually moulted a week ago, so i'll be excited to watch him eat for the first time.

    Who molted today?

    Aphonopelma schmiti moulted in the early morning, ate only once in my care when i got him/her and that was in August last year.

    Dang crickets!

    I put toilet roll tubes facing upwards, some lying down, whenever i need to feed my t's i lift the tube out then shake into a long container then just tip em' in the enclosure. By far the best way i've found.
