Thanks for the info! When i get home from work i'll take a closer look. I wondered the same thing but didn't see much on Carparachne aureoflava, so figured it may be a dead latin name, or inaccurate.
Hopefully i can get...
So, today i just so happened to get ahold of what looks like a "white lady spider" (leucorchestris arenicola)? I'm not exactly an expert on true spiders..
I was told that the spider was brought in from Africa or the Middle East, and that the people had no clue what it was... So i bought it...
These guys waste no time on munching on a cricket...
They all took one right away.
20 minutes or so after putting the cricket in, the only think left was either a leg or a wing...
It also depends on what size enclosure your sling is in.
I usually do one cricket at a time, if the T hasn't eaten the cricket within an hour or so i remove the cricket.
I feed a lot of my slings 2 to 3 times a week, depending on size, abdomen size and sex.
So why do you want to increase humidity? you can mist half of the substrate, or less, and provide a water bowl.
whats the humidity like in the room??
And they can handle a little bit of moisture in the substrate.
