I disagree. I own a petstore myself and I keep H. lividum in those biggest BraPlast boxes with 10-12cm substrate. It's still not ideal but it's probably better then in most stores. Specially for H. lividum it would be a BAD idea for it to be visible. People who see the name and actually know...

Is this species dependant? Like with cornsnakes it's 'if they can put their nose in, they'll get trough'. How is this with Ts? I need more airholes in my sling enclosures and I'm not sure how big they can be.

Adding a little sand under the eco earth might help it retain more structure but I'm new to Ts so don't know if it's any good for them.

I think the biggest problem would be to keep the bonsai looking good.
