Keep calm and play with a balfouri

Thanks everyone! This balfouri isn't very bad, but I was still nervous lol. I've got another about one molt behind, that might as well be Satan. Most evil thing I've ever seen. Sent from my SGH-T999 using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2

Keep calm and play with a balfouri

I haven't seen my balfouri in while so I had to scratch that itch and crack her cave open. I started to contemplate holding her, and before in could make a decision she darted out onto to knee! Talk about a bit of a scare. She's actually like holding an avic. A little sketchy, but most likely...

    Roach I.D?

I'm cleaning out my bin of Blatta lateralis roaches after not touching them for months, and this guy is the last one to run out! I thought he was just another lateralis, until he climbed up the side of the slick bin and the packing tape.

    Wolf spider ID please

So she layed ANOTHER egg sack. I set her up in a 5-8 gallon long enclosure. It looks really awesome! I got 6 pounds of river rocks and sloped them down the entire length, and put an inch of coco fiber on the embankment, and then got a scraggly branch that runs the length of the tank, and filled...

    Wolf spider ID please

Lol sounds good :) I wonder if anyone would be interested in taking a few off my hands? I've got so many slings in a 55 dram vial lol. I figured I'd let them eat each other off a bit.

    Snake bite and ultimate stupidity

Did you ever find out what species of Cobra it was? Sounds like a Monacle'd to me, but the symptoms seem reasonable for only one fang scratch as you described.

    Wolf spider ID please

I caught a few Midland Water snakes while I was out there too :) Thanks so much though! Im keeping her in a round acrylic enclosure. I've got about 1/4" of water at the bottom, a round cup full of coco fiber, a small plant, and some rock. She's doing great on crickets :)

    Wolf spider ID please

Caught this girl while fishing on a boat in Southern Illinois. Saw the male and female sitting together on some lily pads so I snatched her ;) She recently hatched a sac of around 400-500 Babies.

Comment by 'TB3Redneck' in media 'What species is this?'

I think I may lable it Aphonopelma behlei, but because of its horrible care from its last owner, I think it may take one more molt for the really red setae to grow back in.

Thats what I thought, but I didn't think they had any red setae on their abdomen.
