I personally don't think that reptibark and coconut coir mixed would pose a problem. I myself use nothing but coconut coir. Albeit cheap, peat moss drove me nuts with the dust and trying to keep it moist. These are just my opinions. There are numerous substrates and mixtures that can be used...

bloodred1889 about the best thing I can advise for you is to just let the spider be. Hopefully it's just an oncoming molt. If it's not there won't be a whole you can do otherwise but sit and wait. Xochie your spider is just trying to recover from molting and needs to let it's exoskeleton...

I agree with Scott. They will stop when they are full. Also know that feeding them mice can be really nasty. Leftovers will smell to high heaven and then some. Do what you want to do but personally I wouldn't feed them mice.

It should be enough but it wouldn't hurt to have some holes drilled about a half inch above the substrate.

This was very easy to find using the search function. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk but please try it sometime. This is another topic that comes up often. Words such a cross breeding or hybrids used in the search will bring up several threads...

Also remember that this poll was started a little over 3 years ago. I'm sure if one was created now it there would be a lot more or different options.
