Just got a female P. regalis who was healthy and gorgeous! She was packaged so nicely that it made putting her in her new enclosure a breeze!
Would definitely buy from again!
Bought a female P. cambridgei and a couple of P. irminia. Shipped them the very next day and added a pair of hissing cockroaches for free. Everything arrived very alive and already settled in nicely! Would definitely buy from again!
I left for work at 5am and noticed my juvenile B. hamorii on it's back. Exciting! Until I got home 12 hours later and a decent portion of the old abdomen is still on it.
Questions.. if its wrapped all the way around I guess it will block it from pooping which is certain death. Is water and a...
I have a versi sling that couldn't web at all. I watched it go through all the motions like it's sac mates, but nothing. After it's first molt with me it webbed up almost the entire top of it's enclosure. As long as it's active and eating I wouldn't worry to much.
I just noticed 1 of my versi slings molted and I missed it. Had to be within an hour or so too. I also had a P. cambridgei sling molt 3 or 4 days ago. Hard to know exactly since I never seen him :)
I doubt she would spray them directly. It would be smarter to introduce a small amount each week. Maybe even a few times a week to simulate normal everyday use of said product. Taking a can of axe and spraying it directly on a T would be nothing like spraying it on yourself in a room with a T...
1 of my 3 Versi slings just can't seem to web at all. I'm pretty sure he is in pre-molt and has been trying to web like crazy with no success. I'm just wondering if this will affect him molting? Will he decide to molt on the sub below or something else? He is about .75 in size.. so a little guy.
If most are anything like my local retail chain pet store.. bought or killed it still gets replaced. Last time I was there they had 2 G. rosea's and both looked bad and on their last leg. I went back a week later and both were gone with signs in each cage of "coming soon G. rosea and amazon pink...
I had the same thing with 1 of the 3 I got. I had 2 sling kits from Jamie and 1 pill bottle type. I was not expecting the 3rd and he had a hard time in the pill bottle. I manged to find a similar enclosure and make his own up nice with cork bark and leaves. And your mom is crazy.. I love my...
My B. albo just molted a week ago. His abdomen has the same black it had before molting. He just stopped eating about 4 days before molting and quit moving around as much. He is about the same size as yours.
Being new to T's I hope that isn't the start to DKS since my 2 and half inch B. smithi does that too. She only moves like that when there is a cricket present that she does not want tho. I seen it as stress due to the cricket because she seems normal with it gone.
Does yours move like that all...
Thanks for the replies. Have a couple more and decided to use this to keep from making a new post.
I have a 2.5 inch b. smithi that I put a toilet paper roll in at an angle for her to use as a burrow. Well last night she dug to the side/corner of the cage and either the roof collapsed there...
