I have an acrylic front with 12 1/2" holes drilled in it. The substrate is 50/50 coco fiber and peat moss. I don't keep a hygrometer in there, but I have the substrate moist (pic was taken before that point as I was building it) and have an open water dish built into the structure...

So, last Friday I obtained a 5" A. metallica (supposedly female). Since I have gotten her, she has spent zero time on the structure in her enclosure. She has been 100% on the glass. (I have the enclosure shown below). She has also shown no beginning of a silk home, either. Is this common...
