Yeah most of my T's climbed arround the walls for a while, it should eventually settle in. I think you should ditch the heatpad too, high risk of accidentally cooking the T. I will add the caveat that I don't own a rosie, but they are desert dwellers and probably don't need much of an elevated...
At least you have decent pet stores (or not decent ones) in WI all the pet stores are pretty lame (aka they don't have T's). The thing that annoys me is that they sell mice, which are essentially feeders for interesting animals. If only I had a python

I was wondering if any of you have Acanthoscurria geniculata's and what their temperament is like as adults. I've read several different accounts in the literature, and I didn't see a similar thread.
My buddy goes to the one in Wheaton a lot, sounds pretty cool. We have a similar situation up here (Madison, WI) since there's only once pet store with a decent selection. I've found the sellers on AB to be much better than anything local. I would think Chicago would have a ton of pet stores...
