There is one in Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati. There are usually some arachnids at each. Have yet to see anything super spectacular at herp/arachnid at any of them.

I would use some roof heating cable, attached to a rheostat. You can wind the cable all through the cabinet for a thorough heating. Use foil tape to attach it to the cabinet.

I wouldn't boil it. They may lose their scent. The snake may not eat it either. I would just stick with rodents. Corn snakes are not very picky, but many animals do not like to switch between food items.

Nice terrarium. If I had a camera, I would post my dart frog set-ups. Once the terrarium is established, the frogs require very little care other than feeding.
