Looks like there's a couple in Indianna. There's also a monthly show in Kalamazoo, MI if you're willing to make a trip out of it.
Plain coconut fiber will work fine for all three of those spp. Keep it bone dry for the G. rosea, and P. murinus, moist for the A. metallica. You could add vermiculite for the metallica to hold moisture longer, but IMO it's not necessary. Adding a bit of play sand to coco fiber (say a 70/30) mix...
The patchy "dark stuff" is urticating seatae being flicked off. If she is in pre-molt, it is just beginning as her abdomen hasn't even darkened yet. She may just be fasting for no apparent reason as well. They do this sometimes. As long as her abdomen is plump, I wouldn't be too concerned. Keep...
I'm so sorry for your loss. She was a visionary and an inspiration to all of us who love these misunderstood animals. I'll keep you and yours in my thoughts.
You might want to reread the forum rules on profanity and profanity with symbols substituted. Your video has already been deleted due to profanity, and this post is likely to be edited as well. On another note, I'd do some serious self examination before advising others to "grow up". I'm not...
Wow. Awesome pic, and gorgeous spider Draiman. I adore this species. In my opinion they are so much more interesting looking than the dime-a-dozen poecis. That green coloration is dead sexy!

As someone who has one, I recommend you just buy yourself a container, fill it with dirt, and dig a little hole. There you go - instant M. robustum! {D Just teasing. ;) I haven't seen many for sale myself, but good luck with your search!
Oh, that's so disappointing! :( Sorry for your loss. If you're having the same weather we are in MI, the poor little guys probably got too cold during the delay. IMO, this is why it's worth the extra $ to get express delivery with LAG.
LOL, I love when they do that. :) P. irminia slings tend to be big scaredy-cats when it comes to feeding on large crickets IME. I guess he just figured "screw it, I'm going to conquer my fears". ;)
Busy little guy. It looks like all our Taylor vendors have caught the GBB bug. Nobody had them for months, and now Apple, Morris, and Bryan have slings at every show.

There are probably more threads with similar stories, but this is one I remember seeing.
LOL, yeah that T is MUCH older than 1 year. Pet shops will tell you anything to make a sale. That said, it looks like a molting mat rather than a sperm web.
