You need to raise the humidity. Maybe start soaking her for about 10 minutes a day in room temp water until it sheds. Yes she will calm down, you probably just surprised her. The next shed can help fix the previous. Make sure her eyes, nostrils, and the tip of the tail are clear of shed.

The whole tarantula will generally get slower and darker with this species before it molts. At least thats with my experience. Best thing to do is leave the animal alone. Lol I know thats easier said then done. But im sure alot of people will agree with me on this.
Its getting ready to molt I bet. If it has a shaved area on its abdomen it will usually turn dark before it molts. This is the pigmentation forming in the new hair.

Thats awesome man. Did you start with a captive bred or wild caught? Ive always thought they were amazing spiders but its hard paying $100 to $150 for a wild caught import that may not make it.

Have they molted since you've had them? If they were fat when you got them and have only eatin a few times i would say thats what they're about to do. Good luck though i hope everything works out.
