Those 2 do not look like baby subspinipes. I'm no pro on pedes but I've had a few baby subspinipes before, they are not striped and are black with orange heads. I'm almost 100% positive.

I would use aquarium grade silicone if u need to plug holes. Non toxic, sturdy, washable, and removable. What I do for my sling starter containers for humidity control if needed. 🙂

I sometimes do the same thing and buy crickets every other week. Just house them well, feed and water the crickets an appropriate diet and all will be ok.

I'm not 100% positive on that method for true spiders. I do know that alot of huntsman spider sexes have completely different looks as they mature. I'm not sure if that is true about the species you have. Hope that helps a lil.

I would think so as long as no fertilizer is added to the soil fefore they package it. Adding a bit of sand will help with the consistency as well.

Species differences should also be considered. How do you know when each and every communal slings are 'full'?? Well, we don't. Do whatcha gotta do people but in my experience....I wouldn't recommend communal.

I wouldn't keep them all together after they leave mama's back. Younger forest scorpions WILL cannibalize! Its better to be safe than sorry. House them individually after they leave mama's back. There should be no problem with fresh dead prey. U can house them in vials with just lil damp coco...

I mount my heat on the bottom of the enclosures or if the pads too large, place my enclosures on top of the pad however far I need to. I just use washers ect to space the enclosures a lil above the mats, let them breathe. Works great for me!
