    Pandinus dictator on the market

The price depends on the sex, size, and availability. Adults can go for $40-$70. Smaller sizes like 2i/3i can go for $20-$30.

Help for my black asian scorpion

It looks like a blockage of the Malpighian Tubule System. Keep the temperature hot (90F-95F) with high humidty (60%-70%) with good air movement. That might be able to loosen up any waste from the hemolymph. Consider trying a different feeder for this particular scorpion and also the food you...

    Water for scorpions

Bottled water is best, more specifically, Purified Drinking Water, unless you have a water filtration system in your home. If it has a high mineral content, which would vary by manufacturer if it even has any at all, the hard water stains can allow the feeder insect to climb out of the enclosure...

    Help Id?

Looks like Heterometrus longimanus. Other species that it could be is H. petersii or H. spinifer. H. longimanus and H. spinifer are less common species while H. petersii is more common.

Help!: My Androctonus bicolor is missing a pedipalp.

It was awesome that you bought it anyway. I would have done the same thing. If it was a 2i size, the limb would grow back very little during each successive molt. Depending on how severe it is, it may not fully grow back. It will eat and mate fine.

What scorpion had the deadliest sting?

Yeah Stugy. LD50 is how much venom, in I think micrograms per kilogram or whatever, you need to kill 50% of a population. So if you had 100 mice how much venom do you need to kill half of them.

[Inquiry] Anyone know the German breeder, Polyped?

I have actually bought scorpions from him. Everything went well. I can only speak from my own experience.

Using chemical to remove adhesive residue

I have used Goof-Off. It works good. Use it sparingly because it has a watery consistency and could get messy.

Not a noob, but never stop learning.

I think it's tree sap or amber. When I throw wood in the oven, the wood can leak with this stuff during the baking process and when it cools afterwards.

All of my younger scorpions hang upside down. All of my young scorpions (2i-5i) hang upside down. Completely normal.
