hi sorry for the horribly long reply, work, and computer problems kept me away for the last while... as for shipping they dont ship... although have you looked into starting to breed your own?
personally, i would go with either the BP of course find a reputable breeder and get a CB one, or find a kenya sand boa.... from my experience, owining corns, BP, Columbians, Kenyans, rats, and white lips, BPs and Kenyans are really easy to care for, and neither get too large to handle
thanks, right now i have them is small (tall) containers or coco fiber that they came in, i will try to get some deli cups soon, and the bark. I tried looking for some info online earlier today, but i really havnt found anything pertaining to either of them aside from what i should feed them and...
ok all i sold my emperors and got 2 t's now, actually i more or less sold the scorpions i had, and the same guy "sold" me 2 T's for the same price....
both are 2nd instar, 1 is a Cambridei, the other is a Lasidora parahybana.
can anyone point me in the right direction so i can properly...
congrats on the boa! beautiful snake :) i have a pastel 100% het sunglow myself... sorry to hear about the health probs, but i am thinking its a heat issue as well. hopefully he lasts a long time!
thanks for the info, had a bit of trouble with my internet at home and not much time at work to get on, i'll try transferring them tonight to a small container, mom is dead, they've been chilling out on her in a seperate tank for 2 days now, all seem to be doing ok (except for the dead mom)...
Ok, so a while ago i had one of my female emps give birth, the other 2 scorps ate the brood before i got them separated. today when i woke up, the other female had her brood. she has been moved with her young still on her back to a separate 5 gal enclosure.. after i got home from work, i noticed...
ok heres an update, my roomy took some pictures of me holding her, they all turned out pretty crappy :( too blury and shes going blue :( going to be a bit before i can get some better pics. on another note, was looking around at the ERAS show this weekend, and i found a guy in calgary breeding...
ok so here goes, about a month and a half ago, i bought 3 Pandinus imperator, (2 female, 1 male) both females were gravid, one gave birth.
my question is how to separate her how as she gave birth in the communal tank ????.... so far not a lot have survived. (no exact count as of yet) to top...
i highly doubt it will grow back even if it still has molting to do. if there are some out there missing legs and chela and doing just fine, then I'm assuming it will be ok in the end. I'm definitely no expert on scorps but maybe there are those out there better informed/more experienced who can...
i have 3 adult emps living communally together, the other day i got home to find one of the gravid females was birthing, since then i have been checking up on her and the scorplings ans well as the other 2 adults, so far, none have been killed or eaten and they all seem to be doing fine, when i...
i feed mine a few crickets in the tank, i have never seen them eat a cricket, yet when i feed them super worms, they will take them right out of my hand, jam them in their mouths and run around like they're saying "look what i have! you cant catch me!" it's awesome.... although it takes my emps...
from my LIMITED experiences with corns, i think the tank is more than enough room, i would however ( and i do this with all my snakes) is put something on their cool side to hide in.. i use fake plants that they drag all around and they all seem to love either bathing in their water dishes...
yea they do have their brilliance to them... i have heard that there were hard to breed, apparently theres a breeder here in Canada and he's been breeding white lips for a few years at least..... maybe once my new gal gets accustomed to her new home she might find a lucky mate??!!!
well i've had my 3 emps for a few weeks.... been taged once... dont think he got me with any venom as i didnt really feel much.... last week i opened up their lid to clean their water dish and refill it. anyways when i was putting the dish back in, the small mister bottle i use to fill their...
ok so once shes digested her meal and i've handeled her another time this week, I'll get some pictures of my new baby girl Nancy.... now Nancy (aside from being my girlfriends daughter) is about 5 ft long, and shes a beautiful copper white lip python (Leiopython albertisii) I just got her on...
