I've now had T's for a year...have 4 slings that are doing well...and recently just caved and bought a half? grown G. rosea...just so can I actually see a 'big' T...:lol: I was getting tired of either squinting or watching pet holes...

I drop the food in. As long as it's not bothering the T (if the T were to go into a moult) I leave it.
The odd food has died, then I remove it.
I'm in a quandry now though....there's a dead food down the P. irminia hole that I can't get at without destroying the entire construction...
I don't know that I have a favourite thing...but I just get a kick out of them in general. Even just seeing T toes or a butt poking out of a webbed entrance tunnel makes me smile...
Okay. I understand it was 'allegedly' a dangerous spider.
But no one was hurt. It is not unreasonable for the odd 'bug', dangerous or not, to be found in produce. In fact, I'm amazed there aren't more. Suppose that says a lot for pesticide use...

I think that's actually a reasonable request. I wouldn't mind selling extra 'food' to someone in the neighbourhood. I actually wish I had someone nearby to sell my extra chicken eggs to...on a regular basis...
However, I wouldn't deliver...pick-up only...:D
Normally I'd feed store-bought pinheads...these guys haven't had any trouble with their size. Later on I'll mix it up a bit with mealworms and waxworms.
I wonder if wild crickets are more prone to nematode infections than flies would be?
I also wonder how the parasite load of wild insects...
