    P. princeps - molt or dead?

Yeah if there is no movement I would attempt to move it with forceps, if you see no reaction then it’s probably dead.

    Most Handleable Tarantula

I have to agree with the majority, none of these are T’s I would “play” with or handle. Best of luck!

    Temperature for tarantulas

I generally try to keep my T room around 75f but there are times it’s dropped in the low 60’s overnight during the winter months. Tarantulas are tolerant of temp change as long as it’s not extreme and sudden. Also in the winter you could alway try placing plastic around the inside of the windows...

Review by 'kjm' on item 'Joe Rossi'

Joe was an awesome person to work with. Very good prices, and specimen quality is top notch. I will continue to get my Tarantulas from him and would highly recommend him.

Why do I occasionally run into pics of people mating tarantulas on their hands?

LOL this is crazy people would even think this would be an okay thing to do... The complete disregard for common sense is astonishing.

I think somebody may be grumpy today

LMAO!! Now if that's not a clear indication of not wanting to be touched I don't know what is... Wouldn't be nice if you were able to make it this obvious you didn't wanna be messed with today?? ;)

    The Struggle.

I'm in the same boat! Always wanting more, but sometimes the wanting is just as fun as having the T's. I've found taking my time and doing my research really pays off in the end.

    Pterinochilus genus and phantom sacs

Did you just end up removing the eggs? Just out of curiosity has anyone had experience or heard of any type of parthenogenesis in arachnids?

    Pterinochilus genus and phantom sacs

I’ve had a female Psalmopoeus irminia lay an egg sac twice and guard it as though it was fertilized. Never did get around to securing her a male.

    Broke my Own Rule...

What an amazing animal to work with. They just get too big for my comfort level and then add in the venom aspect. No thanks I will watch from a great distance. Thanks for sharing and good luck!
