    Desert Sp. Humidity

Can you clarify something for me? Is the milk jug cap always filled with water, or is it only filled when you mist a twice a month?

    Desert Sp. Humidity

I've seen a few different opinions about humidity for desert sp. in the forums and on care sheets. Anywhere from letting food provide all the water to misting once a month to a very small permanent water dish. Personally I chose to stay on the dry side and let food provide water to mine (I keep...

    Cyclocosmia - suitable 'pet'?

Ken sells them. http://www.kenthebugguy.com/product_info.php?cPath=55&products_id=886 Personally, I do not own one. However, I do have Gorgyrella sp. and Damarchus sp. (both purchased from Ken). Trap doors and similar species need a good 8+ inches of substrate to burrow. 32oz deli cups...

Damarchus sp. and Gorgyrella sp. don't want to burrow

So now the Gorgyrella has filled in its starter hole.......Saturday I'm going to pick up some peat moss and sand and rehouse both of them. Can anyone recommend a good balance between the two? Like 50/50 or 60/40?

Damarchus sp. and Gorgyrella sp. don't want to burrow

5 days ago I purchased both a Damarchus Sp. and a Gorgyrella Sp. from Kenthebugguy. Currently both are housed in 32oz deli containers. For substrate I am using damp cocoa fiber that almost fills 85% of the container and is slanted to create a slope. I also dug a starter hole for them to get busy...

    Columbian Boa Question

Sounds like your little guy may have Inclusive Body Disease (IBD). Common signs include respiratory problems, staring at the ceiling for long periods of time, and neurological problems. I would really encourage you to take same time to research this and see how other snakes with this disease...

    A good first snake?

Personally my corn snake has been the coolest pet I've ever had. Extremely friendly, always comes out to look at you when you come in the room, and constantly exploring the room when you handle it. Really reminds me of a puppy.

    Rescuing a Rosy

Well unfortunately he has Inclusion Body Disease, which is a neurological disease that is always fatal. You can tell from the strange way he is curled up in some of the pictures. I could post some more, but for the most part he has been laying around staring straight up into the sky. If you do...

    Rescuing a Rosy

The Rosy has been stretching himself out in the cage and moving around a little now. Tried feeding him a live pinky, however the boa completely ignored it. Before I helped it shed, I tried a F/t with no luck. Gonna try a f/t pinky later on. If anyone has suggestions please throw them out there...
