You are asking for a needless advice, I cant see the need of freeze the spider, if its to fast for you to transfer from one container to another, then you should´nt keep it :rolleyes:

Use a long paintbrush, and gently manipulate the spider to the top of its enclusure, use a transparrant container to put over the spider, and then slide the lid on the container. For this you really dont need to cool down any...
