    A. Metallica Bad Molt?

As Becca says, try increasing the humidity a little. You may also want to try dabbing the area with a little warm water to soften it further. If it doesn't come away easily, then leave it be :)

    How Much Time?

Good question, probably something like a few months or so, but it's obviously better to use is whillst it's as fresh as possible. They're usually very secretive about making their webs, so it would be difficult to tell when he last made one.

Hi all, My girl is about 5 1/2" and remarkably tolerant of me and any other disturbances. She's only actually ever kicked hairs once (when she was in pre moult), but has raised her back leg on occasion ready to do so. Haven't really seen any signs of aggression, but she will show a...

    Viewing The Cobalt Tarantula

Don't forget that there are always exceptions to the rule. For example, I've read reports of people being able to handle certain specimens that have a remarkably subdued temperament  So it sounds like you have a little sweety on your hands (NB I'm not saying you should try and hold her...

    Tarantula hair

Rashes where? Maybe you would be better to consult a Dr as it may well be frowned upon to seek and/or give medical advice on this forum.

    Tarantula hair

That's fine, even if they were kicking hairs then unless your tanks were wide open, it would be difficult for the hairs to travel any distance, and be concentrated enough to cause any problems. Saying this, these are just my oppinions ofcourse. How long have you had 50 in your room and have...

    Tarantula hair

I can only see it becoming a problem if there is something to annoy a significant proportion of them into a hair kicking frenzy :D

    Enclosure mods for Cobalt Blues

That's fine, I’m sure you did. But you have to appreciate that it is sometimes difficult to portray humour on a forum as it could be interpreted in a number of ways. Use the smileys ;) :D

    Locust as feeder?

I also use Locusts as feeders, except for slings obviously as they are still too small. Provided you keep them well fed ;) :D It's sometimes practical to clip their claws, just before feeding, in order to stop them climbing. Maybe a little cruel but effective. They can be a little...

    Heating Issue

Hi, Did you insulate the outer side of the heatmat?? If you can use a thick layer of polystyrene, then you should see an improvement. ;)

    A. versicolor feeding techniques

I tend to use Locusts to feed my A.versi, as they instinctively climb, and get nailed on the way up :D
