We do have sun spiders out here that look like baby camel spiders but biggest I've seen is 3" or so. At that size I would say possible a shadow of one or your eyes greatly misjudged the size

Yea it could be she needs a molt or he just has issues, I did end up with an egg sac from my female that munched the male though

My ritae paired multiple times then out of no where the male started running. Same thing with my P.murinus but I left him in since the female was still responsive, I came back in to a wadded up pile of mature male

How fresh is the female and has she been paired before?
