Need help with care of with C. fasciatum

The above post symbolizes why i sold mine. They will hide under your deep layer of substrate untill night time, where it will climb all around, antagonising you by running when you get your torch out. They're not for me. Their webbing is impressive, but you never see them on it, and its often...

What kind of T is this?

Lol when i saw those pics I thought the OP was in Iraq fighting camel spiders.. Thrixopelma or theraphosa gone bald and wc? Nah, not theraphosa, but it clearly should have hairs on its abdomen and is fresh wc, or been shaken in a box, 500mbs times, look at that knee damage. Give it loads of...

    T. blondi died

Surely the correct answer would be no, those enclosures aren't tall enough to allow enough substrate for this fossorial spider to burrow in.

Blondi or True Blondi what's the difference?

Stirmi were blondii until a few years ago. If your T has hairs on the patella (long hairy knees) its a blondii. If not, its a stirmi. Because they were only reclassified a few years ago, they always came in as 'Goliath Bird Eater - T. blondii', so they still know em as that.

    What to do?

This is a pet hate of mine lol, Tarantulas dont form pairs, you just have 2 Ts that are old enough to mate. I know a lot of people in the UK now seem to sell 'breeding pairs' of Ts for an inflated price, often asking more than the price of two AFs, i just dont get it! You could always make a...

    Finally!!

Just out of interest, is the geniculata three to four inches, or three quaters of an inch? Welcome to the world of Ts!

    First big one..any ideas?

How often do you feed them? Is it like Ts that will eat once or twice a week, or do these things need feeding more? Do they have a 'premolt' including fasting period? Does overfeeding cause possible molt problems as in Ts? Sorry for a the questions, didn't want to start a new thread. I'll try...
