I am not too sure about the substrate, I will ask her tomorrow.
Hopefully that is all this T needs is a molt... I think the concern was raised because only a couple of days ago that leg was perfectly fine, and now all of a sudden it looks like a small twig lol...

One of the girls that works at my LPS contacted me in regards to this T who has a dried up and shriveled looking leg... She said that last week the leg was perfectly fine and this week the first two sections of it's leg is now as seen in the photos below. (Not the best quality... best I could...
You could print a care sheet for the T, take it in and ask for the manager. Explain to them that the set up they have is unacceptable and that it could be dangerous for all the specimens involved. The Tarantula should be kept solitary, the reason they have it in that tank (humidity) is not...
You should wait at least a week after a molt before feeding again... try searching for some of these common questions before posting then. Not trying to be rude or anything, just helps out :)
