Which one is better to use as a base substrate?

Does anyone here use Tropical Springtails as part of a clean up crew, instead of Temperate? Just curious to know how they're working out. I ordered some for my Madagascar Hissing Cockroach enclosures.

Does venom that's possibly lethal to homo sapiens (humans) effect prey items the same way? For example, Hadrurus arizonensis venom is typically not lethal to humans, but Androctonus australis venom can potentially expire a full grown man. Does this mean that a sting from Androctonus australis...

I've been pleased with my dubia roach colony; it has served me well thus far. However, the only draw back is that some will burrow or even play dead. Is there a roach species that will constantly move (similar to crix) while in the tees/scorps enclosures and yet still has a good meat to shell ratio?

I would go with Brachypelma smithi, Brachypelma albopilosum, or maybe even Avicularia avicularia....jmo.

I had success breeding my Babycurus jacksoni and she had a few babies. I can only visibly see about 6, but I have the breeding pair and the babies in a fairly good size enclosure with a large piece of bark, so I'm thinking she may have more lil scorplings in there.
