I would say that should you try this you would have to coat the lego somehow with a sealant to waterproof it, especially the bottom. Something like this would not suit my personal taste but it could be done if properly planned out.

Can't wait until these guys are ready, absolutely the most stunning species of pede in my personal opinion, though there are many others that are quite gorgeous.

Actually when it comes to invertebrates it is really not as difficult as one would think as long as it is not CITES listed. But it can become quite expensive.

Probably wouldn't be able to ID it from the picture anyways. Not too mention as avicularia matures it loses the maroonish color on the abdomen.
