Totally agree about the annoyance of the tape on the spider container. Unfortunately it's one of the Certified Shipper requirements established by FedEx.

@Arachnophoric They are are i2 and probably 1/16"....the only thing I've had this small was a c.bertae...I've only had them for about a month and they haven't molted yet. Where the hell did you find a confirmed female that size for sale?!?

@Vindictamus Diversipes don't get much bigger than that. Upload a picture of the underside.

@Thekla Oh yeah, that's probably a female. They don't get much bigger. I have an immature male and the legs are way skinnier in comparison to yours.

How big is this? I see a bit of a lip...I would lean toward female.

    Opisthacanthus asper

Mine came from a Madagascar shipment a few years ago. I've seen O.Mad's available recently but they seem to be from Africa...I could be wrong.

No, unsure of where they were collected from. I got them from ken the bug guy, he was pretty confident they are madagascarensis...I'm not sure though.

Where did you get these from? I have a trio that were labeled O.sp CF Madagascarensis but my proven breeder male does not look like O.Madagascarensis...he has very small claws in comparison to pictures of male Madagascarensis. I'm wondering if mine are actually Asper.

Looks female but I'm usually terrible at molt sexing. Someone who's better will chime in soon I'm sure.

Can't see very well but legs are long and thing in comparison to the rest of the body, I would lean toward male.
