Get an Aphonopelma anax or hentzi!! I have an anax and he's awesome!! They're not very colorful but mine is very docile. They do get pretty mean if you bother their hideout!

Hey everyone, I have a question about my TX brown tarantula, and he has kind of a skinny abdomen with long legs, I was just wondering if it's normal for A. anax to look like that, or if it's just a male?

Ehh.. I'll probably just use a heat mat with a timer to turn it off when it gets warm... Do any yall have tips on how to keep the warmth in the cage when you heat it up? like cover it up or somethin?
