I've never had any mean or over the top comments or reactions, really. Mostly a good-natured "you're crazy" or "I'm not going to visit your place".
I guess I'm lucky to be surrounded by open-minded and tolerant people. Or maybe they're just very polite, heh.
I haven't got the hang on ventral sexing, so I'm not going to argue, but... I'll say 'she' until a molt proves me wrong :tongue:
Anyhow, I'm really more interested in what species she is right now.
I hope this is good enough, 'cause I doubt she'll be as cooperative a second time around... I really hate using the pinch-grip, but failed completely in taking picture through the glass.
Maybe I can even get a confirmation on it being a female :biggrin:

She's about 18cm in DLS, give or take a cm or two.
Yup, the spinnerettes was the first thing I noticed that didn't 'fit in'.
Hm, I did consider Acanthoscurria, but Lasiodora didn't occur to me.

So, I finally gave in and bought that big lovely T I've been looking at for a while now. However, I'm not entierly certain it is what the manager at the pet store thought it was - an A. seemanni. It doesn't quite look like the other ones I've seen.
Of course, I could be wrong, but it would be...
