With the information you've given, it's sorta hard to tell if a rehouse is needed. A picture and/or the size of the sling would actually help a lot in determining if it's to big for its container or not.
The only problem I've had with roaches is that they stop moving the instant they touch the ground, so the t won't even bother eating unless it moves some more.

Amazing. Just simply amazing. Well, I wish you and your rufliata luck. Hopefully it'll grow back it's legs in the next upcoming molts.

Even if you're aware of the pesticides and all that other crap, you shouldn't take these kind of risks with your T's. Personally, I'd just order B. dubias, crickets, superworms, etc. from a site and feed them to my T's.
Bake it at around 250-280 degrees F. Bake it for an hour (or shorter/longer depending on how moist the substrate is), and use a spoon, spatula, etc. to mix around the eco earth every 10 minutes or so, until you think the substrate is dry enough. Good Luck~
Leave it alone. After it finishes molting and it hardens (over the course of a few weeks), you can move it to a bigger tank. Remember, you shouldn't try to rush or stress t's (Especially when it's in pre-molt). Good Luck.
I guess a tarantula's molt can stay in in the enclosure without growing mold, because it will eventually dry out. But I prefer to take the molts out for determining the gender (When I have the chance) and to keep the enclosure looking clean.
I wouldn't be worried, unless it was showing signs of death or near death such as the death curl. Other than that, try to leave it alone and keep the humidity at a reasonable level (not too high though) and it should slowly adjust. Don't try to rush it into adapting into its home and just let...
Hello. Well first off, your enclosure looks fine. What you could do with the enclosure though, is drill some 2 inch holes (2 inch diameter) on the top and the sides, and place some tarantulacages.com vents in them. This design, is actually used by Robc and he has a few tutorials on how to...
Contacting the manager would be a good idea, but try not to just immediately accuse him in front of the manager or whoever you are going to explain to. Just try to explain all the events that happened and why you suspect (more like obviously know hehe jk) that he stole from the store.
Well...comparing the carapace to the chart, it might be a formosa or striata. Although the leg markings don't match the ornata, who's to say it's an ornata? The carapace marking of an ornata is different from the one that you have, but matches the formosa and striata. If it were an ornata x...
Just a suggestion/word of advice, you may think that you're not nervous around pokies, but trust me, you'll be nervous. Assuming that you have no experience with Pokies or OW's, there's a very little chance that you won't be nervous or at least surprised.
Can you post a dorsal photo? Like a photo that is directly above the carapace. I think there are certain carapace patterns that belong to only certain Pokies as seen in the picture as seen in the picture below. Even if you can't find the exact species, it could help narrow the selection down.
