If there is rocks in tarantula's enclosure, there is always risk that tarantula burrow into the substrate and rocks fall onto the animal. But in that case, I don't really see the reason why the rocks should be taken away because there isn't enougt substrade for tunnels. Another reason could be...

OMG, this is like a nighmare... As someone mentioned earlier, Sven is (well, was) one of the most important dealer in Europe and this is truly lost for us. He had very good collections and pricies were also very reasonable.

I have them both and my personal opinion is that if you definitely don't want order both, The tarantula keepers guide is everything you need. It just includes so much more information.

I think H. maculata is the most gorgeous tarantula in the hobby. I have two slings and cannot wait them growing. Actually right now they have very different tempers. Bigger one is quite shy and peaceful (for H.mac). The another one is everything and a little bit more what can be expected from mac :)

I wouldn't ever sell my female A. geniculata. She was my first T in collection :) She is my "little baby" and such a sweetheart, basicly I have never seen her angry.

I think it's male. Why everyone are so sad if the T is male? Okei, they live shorter time than females and most males aren't so pretty but I think males can be precious pets as well as females.
